Peterbilt is proud to support the Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB) and the opening of their latest Ready to Learn™ in-school market at Denton Ryan High School. This new market helps guarantee that children will have the most important school supply they need — food. This Peterbilt financial contribution supports the market's establishment and operations for the first year.

We partner with United Way of Denton County and host a week of giving leading up to the Peterbilt Pride & Class Parade which raises awareness and donations. Denton, TX-based employees contribute individually and participate in a variety of company-sponsored fundraising activities and contests during the week-long campaign. They also volunteer for the annual parade which features trucks across the U.S. and Canada. 

Peterbilt is a proud to be a continued supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and all the good it brings to patients, survivors, their families and communities.

Our 2nd Annual Peterbilt Sales & Marketing Volunteer Day at North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) was a huge success. Together, we boxed and packed canned goods and sorted enough milk to provide 26,766 meals, totaling 32,119 pounds of food. With the help of NTFB's fleet of Peterbilt trucks, including 10 Model 579s and 8 Model 548s, these vital supplies will be delivered to those in need across Texas.

The North Texas Food Bank unveils its fleet of Peterbilt Model 579s and Model 548s, ready to make a difference in the fight against hunger.

We want our military and veteran employees to be recognized for their skills and military experience that contribute to our success. We extend an opportunity for them to wear exclusive Peterbilt veteran-branded caps with pride during shifts at the manufacturing facility. We see them and thank them for their hard work both at Peterbilt and for our country.

For Veteran's Day, we hosted Don Graves, a WWII USMC veteran and Iwo Jima survivor. We were so honored to have Don as our Guest of Honor and hear his story. Don received a plant tour and a plaque from our team.

In recognition of National Nonprofit Day, Peterbilt employees volunteered at North Texas Food Bank to support its ongoing efforts to serve the local community. As a team, we packed 576 bags of food for a total of 7,680 meals!

Peterbilt is thrilled to be a part of the community and to have the Peterbilt Black Organization for Leadership & Development (PBBOLD) employee resource group driving the mission forward. Through their "Adopt-A-School" initiative, they have made an incredible impact at Calhoun Middle School with their "Touch-A-Truck" event, awards ceremonies and garden renovation. We are so inspired by the PBBOLD team and their commitment.

Peterbilt Black Organization for Leadership & Development (PBBOLD) employee resource group and the Diversity Council hosted Kappa Kamp at our training center. Students heard from various Peterbilt employees, toured the manufacturing plant and got to see one of our trucks up close. Peterbilt is proud to serve our community and foster student learning.

In celebration of Women's History Month, Peterbilt’s BOLD employee resource group hosted a discussion with Dr. Opal Lee and recognized her contribution to events in history.

It's PACCAR Day – Virtual Career Fair at Alabama A&M University. Students were invited to visit Handshake to join Peterbilt recruiters and to also hear from PACCAR’s Leadership Panel on how identity shaped their experience.

Peterbilt’s Texas A&M alumni engineers traveled back to their alma mater to meet with students in the honors Industrial and Systems Engineering organization Alpha Pi Mu. Students heard about career journeys from class to industry work and were given the opportunity to check out one of Peterbilt's Model 579.

Congratulations to Peterbilt’s Michele Rodgers, Lori Lederman and Monique de Boer for being recognized as Women In Trucking’s Top Women to Watch.

Peterbilt employees visited a local Montessori School for a "Touch-A-Truck" event. The children learned all about trucks and were able to climb inside and sit in the driver's seat to experience what it feels like to be behind the wheel of a Peterbilt.

Peterbilt Women’s Initiative (PBWIN) is proud to make a sizeable donation to Texas Health Resources Foundation, specifically to the Texas Health Presbyterian’s new Center for Women in Denton. We’re proud to be a part of our community and support breast cancer research through the proceeds of our annual pink Peterbilt hat sales. Employees are encouraged to participate and wear the pink hats each day in October as part of their uniform.
