Peterbilt Motors Company will display a strong lineup of trucks at Truck World in Toronto, Canada from April 21-23 at the International Centre.

Last held in 2018, Peterbilt looks forward to engaging with Truck World attendees and showcasing a lineup of five Peterbilt trucks, including the New Model 579, New Medium Duty Model 537, the vocational Model 567, iconic Model 389 and zero-emissions battery electric Model 579EV, all on display.

The New Model 579 is the most aerodynamic and fuel-efficient Peterbilt ever built. It features many innovative technologies including a class-leading 15” Digital Dash Display, Digital Vision System, TPMS as well as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems including collision mitigation, lane departure warning and predictive cruise control.

The Model 537 features a new wider cab with room for 3 adults to seat comfortably, with stair-style steps and knurled grab handles making it easier to get into and out of the truck. The best-in-class interior features expanded storage space and an all-new instrument cluster, with a high-resolution 7-inch digital display, that is fully integrated into the electronics of the truck with key information like system check, trip summary, PTO functions, ADAS and TPMS all clearly displayed through the menu cards.

The Model 579EV leads the charge towards zero-emissions with a fully integrated, all-electric powertrain designed for optimal weight distribution and performance, ideal for regional haul, drayage, pickup and delivery and last mile operations. Using a recommended DC fast-charger, the state-of-the-art, high-energy, density battery packs recharge in as quick as 3.5 hours.

“We are pleased to be back at Truck World and have the opportunity to visit with many of our loyal Canadian customers in person,” said Robert Woodall, Peterbilt assistant general manager sales and marketing. “This is the premier truck show in Canada and a great place for Canada’s trucking industry and decision makers to see first-hand our diverse portfolio of products to serve a wide variety of customers.”
